I have been run off the road or nearly killed several times by 1di0t drivers with a cell phone glued to their ear. I would be 100% in favor of banning all cell phones while driving. Msny folks do not have the skills to do both at the same time.
She should be ashamed. No car seat. No seat belt. Yapping on a cell phone instead of driving. She killed her kid. The baby didn't just die by itself. Its parent- the one of two people it had in the world to protect it- did it.
Still, she got off very light punishment for causing the death of a sweet innocent baby.
The courts around here do not value the lives of children. I am surprised he didn't get a couple of months of probation or at least a suspended sentence. Child molesters and murderers rarely get much punishment.
Where are the parties at this year? Lobbiests throw great end of session parties! Lots of free food and free liquor! Dress up like a legislative aide or staff member and party hard tonight!!!
What about protecting themselves at work? Do they need that right? Have you seen the ballasters and blockades at the Truman Building? The state must have a very real fear that Al Quaida or an OKC bomber may attack the state buildings? Not sure I really like the way all of this is going???
