I suspect the drop in battery demand is driven by the fact that the world is using different devices configured with different batteries. LED devices, digital devices, cell phones, digital cameras, etc. use rechargable batteries in forms other than the familiar energizer batteries. These can be special battery packs or button batteries.
I have had good luck, btw, with rechargeable AA and AAA batteries. I have one simple charger that does both/either and won't overcharge them. The NiMH rechargeable batteries come in different qualities with some holding more charge and surviving more charge/discharge cycles.
Working across the aisle? He vetoed and was over-ridden many, many times. He didn't propose or suggest any successful legislation. At best, he co-existed with a dominantly D legislature in Massachusetts.
Victoria, is that you?
Evidently, Grace has a soul sister. Victoria Jackson, the former Saturday Night Live comedian tweeted: "I can't stop crying. America died." and "Thanks a lot Christians, for not showing up. You disgust me."
Better get a new crystal ball....
So, your posts are jokes? Thanks, that explains a lot.
Pig in a poke refers to a confidence trick originating in the Late Middle Ages, when meat was scarce, but casts and puppies were not. The idiom pig in a poke can also simply refer to an inferior pig in a bag. The scheme entailed the sale of a suckling pig or pup in a poke (bag). The bag would actually contain a cat or dog (not particularly prized as a source of meat), which was sold to the victim in an unopened bag.
