Another area of Cole County will be turned over to the pathetically incompentent JCPD and more crime will be around. How about the city cut their salaries because 1) Mayor has NOT once found a successful inexpensive way to promote JC and the Convention and Visitors Bureau should only have ONE person working in it (NOT A TOURIST TOWN) 2) Crime rate in JC is UP and now above the state average. 3) City promotes DUI as there is nothing in place for people to get safe rides home from "Drunken Downtown Thursdays"....JC is going to hell in a handbasket fast......In my opinion people...VOTE NO ON THIS......JEFFERSON CITY CANT EVEN KEEP UP WITH THE AREA IT HAS NOW, DON'T LET IT DESTROY WHAT ISN'T YET....... Glad my parents are dead because if they weren't and this passed, I would be helping them move....Many people moved to the west side to avoid being in Jefferson City and its lame life!

Typical JC...once an area outside of town is nice, they JC elite think they can come and snag it and 5 yrs later becomes one of the cities top crime areas and neglected and will look like the pathetic downtown area that looks like a slum because the city will not put up or enforce ordinences.

There is no way this man did this on his own...over 20,000 dollars in equipment bought in a small time, and in the town the suspected NYC subway bomber was living and getting his chemicals......Something is foul in Colorado...area of that state has the the most strict gun laws...al queda members have been known to live in the area, Columbine is only 15 minutes away OH and the shocker...in April in AURORA CO an armed gunman walked into a church planning on killing people in the congregation, only got ONE due to a CCL holder taking the person out (but the liberal press suppressed that story as only one major network covered it)....All in the time as the leader of Iran oversees the UN Small Arms Treaty (even if Hillary signs it and the Senate approves it will not be legal (In Reid v. Covert (1957), the US Supreme Court held that the Constitution supersedes any international treaties ratified by the Senate.) THIS IS NOTHING BUT A SCARE TACTIC FROM THE LIBERALS AND PROGRESSIVES THAT WANT OUR GUNS TAKEN AWAY... Our constitution forbids it....but watch for them to start controlling the ammuntion of guns made in other countries.........

Evidently you haven't been to England nor Canada where their single payer systems have almost impossible to get into lines to get into specialist and only after an approval by the government. A single payers system will lose more people entering the medical field as their pay will be lowered and their workload doubled....BAD IDEA all around (well except for those of you who think the government should be in every aspect of your life and allows you to live without personal responsibility...I've never heard of a hospital not willing to take PAYMENTS!

Personally, if you are unemployed its usually of two reasons: First, because of previous work histories on potential employees, most employers look for people they can count on not look at someone constantly changing jobs or little work experience. The other reason is people demand to work in the field of their choosing passing on jobs that can put a paycheck in the home. Personally I think all unemployment benefits should go back to where they are because we are teaching a whole generation it's ok to live off the tax payers dime

It takes a course of action to get something accomplished, and most people complaining about not having a job usually don't take a job they wouldn't be happy doing such as food service or maid/cleaning. It's the choice they choose that makes them unemployed or it's their lousy demeanor that makes employers want to seek elsewhere.
