I heard from a reliable source that the committee to study wages already recieved a detailed report that spelled out in detail exactly how bad the wage disparities are and that they have all but killed that committee and that report will never be made public
unfortunately, the state will never be able to regain the reputation it had as a stable place of employment. this will last for generations. I understand that now every department is suffering severe brain drain.
hey guise I thought this story was about the barge tour and were talking about the pedestrian bridge, which happens to be one of the best things to ever come to jeff city. imagine getting to town by car and you get to the river and there is no bridge. imagine if you had to call a ferry pilot to take you across. or you could just continue on down the road till the next town. 440,000 people from all 50 states toured the katy last year with a impact of $18.5 million. tourist to missouri spent more on cycling than boating or golf. I personally spent $2,000 on a bike and $500 on outfitting it in the last month at a local bike shop. its a huge industry and we are just beginning to tap the full potential in jc
edit: a word
Whoever attempted to crack their way into the database violated federal law. it should be reported to the fbi. this is a serious matter. someone could be using legislative computers to facilitate computer crimes. this is a matter for the feds
no surprises there. missouri has a long tradition of protecting corrupt prosecutors and law enforcement. enough that were talked about in other states. they often group missouri with the deep south when it comes to misconduct. shudders
schaefer made a mistake when he cut the budget. his excuse was the budget was to confusing. I believe he just isn't that bright. he isn't cut out for the office he is holding. furthermore, withholding funds from revenue for following the law is just mind boggling. at this time I would begin looking into if he could be removed from his position.
to the employees, I would suggest a statewide sickout for two or three days. during that time have all calls forwarded to schaefer's office. the women in his office should have no problem doing the work for the paltry sum of 33% of revenue workers
jeff city is already diverse. there is even a weekly cricket game in town. I
on the issue of jeff tran the city needs a public education plan. the problem with parking downtown could be solved by more transit riders or pedestrian commuters. people just need to be encouraged. Missouri was recently ranked the most obeste state in the us and I can see why.
more wasting of tax payer's time and money. this is a diversion from their complete lack of competance. they have yet to produce anything meaningful for the people of Missouri once again. How many years now is that?
oh no you didn't just suggest that. that sorry excuse of a human schaeffer would have the dept of revenue employees moved to cell block d. I feel sorry for the people who "elected" him. admiral that you gave the reject a job but he isn't cut out for higher level thinking. I heard that during his latest tantrum he nearly defunded half of revenue cause them numbas was to complicated for him
