So, is this sort of thing considered a "hate" crime since it is focused on a specific religious group? I recall some vandalism in Columbia not long ago was labeled as such because it was aimed at a specific race. I hope they catch whoever is responsible and make them pay for the repairs/replacement.
Good for him! It's good to see that high school students have some depth of character and aren't totally self-focused (not sure I would have had that kind of conviction when I was a student at Helias!). Hope the appeal allows him back on the team.
I hope this does get overturned. Animal shelters are nothing like breeders and are, in fact, doing just the opposite, in spayng and neutering the animals to prevent more unwanted animals. I just got my 3rd dog from the JC animal shelter, and because it was the holidays and I picked an "ornament" that said Merry Christmas they were waiving my adoption fee. I turned around and gave them the fee as a donation because they struggle to make ends meet caring for the unwanted animals. Thank you JC Animal Shelter, for your caring and concern!

Good for her! I had one as a kid - back in the 60s. Mine was turquoise - which wasn't unheard of in REAL appliances at the time. Toy companies DO need to start making things less gender specific. This is a prime example, too. You hear of more male chefs than female.
Not sure what it would take to change the city's charter, but given the pathetic turnout for elections that are non-federal, I would think the city could save a ton of money if they just did away with the primary entirely and just let everyone run in April.
This isn't a NT headline - unless they re-wrote the one from the AP. I just think that basic English is not taught in J-school anymore. And I'm a smart-aleck.
