I thought it was against the law to kill honey bees? Do they think the spray won't kill them?
If they'd come to our place in Osage County we'd be happy to part with all kinds of stuff! We have a full shop and warehouse that we need to sell!
JCLifer, you could use a bit of a lesson in Catholic Catechism if you think that is how it works. Last time I checked, drinking was not considered "sinning wildly." And unless said "wild sinner" (not sure what constitutes that) makes an effort to go to the sacrament of reconciliation, those sins are not just automatically forgiven, by a priest or anyone else.
I thought it had a different headline when it was originally out there, but I could be wrong. If this was the original headline, then it was rather unfortunate to use this picture, which is tacky, whether or not the caption actually depicts the situation and people.
This is amazing! Those are some motivated kids and they apparently have a great teacher. Way to go!
Dolf was an amazing person - I've known him and Becky for close to 40 years. He will certainly be missed by all who knew him.
So, is this sort of thing considered a "hate" crime since it is focused on a specific religious group? I recall some vandalism in Columbia not long ago was labeled as such because it was aimed at a specific race. I hope they catch whoever is responsible and make them pay for the repairs/replacement.
Good for him! It's good to see that high school students have some depth of character and aren't totally self-focused (not sure I would have had that kind of conviction when I was a student at Helias!). Hope the appeal allows him back on the team.
So glad for the happy ending. And it reaffirms my belief that dogs are more loyal than most people! Heartwarming.
I hope this does get overturned. Animal shelters are nothing like breeders and are, in fact, doing just the opposite, in spayng and neutering the animals to prevent more unwanted animals. I just got my 3rd dog from the JC animal shelter, and because it was the holidays and I picked an "ornament" that said Merry Christmas they were waiving my adoption fee. I turned around and gave them the fee as a donation because they struggle to make ends meet caring for the unwanted animals. Thank you JC Animal Shelter, for your caring and concern!
