Donnie William Witt, Chef- Munichburg Tavern
My passion for cooking began as a child spending time in the kitchen with my mom.. She said I was a kitchen kid from about age 2.
After years of cooking, for events, friends, and family; I decided to go professional I started training under various chefs learning techniques. My culinary education does not stop there; I must give a big thank you to my mentor and teacher , Sam Donoghue, for his tutelage in bringing me to my level of expertise.
Today, I work hard to create meals for our customers with all the love and attention I give the meals I prepare for my own friends and family. I personally love steaks so I call that my specialty. I believe Onion Rings are an art …not too big or too thin… cooked to perfection. My goal is preparing fresh food for good people.
I have taken short leaves of absence to work in other fields but the kitchen keeps calling me home. In addition to be the head Chef at Munichburg Tavern, I handle the day to day operation of the kitchen and staffing.. I oversee all preparation, ordering, menu planning, inventory and cleaning.
If you haven’t stopped by yet … I invite you to stop by and enjoy a mouth watering “ Big Bob” burger or our soon to be famous “Cajun Boil.” You’ll be glad you did. |
