Helmut Steiner has been serving the finest German and Swiss cuisine Mid-Missouri has to offer for over 29 years. Helmut moved from Berlin to the U.S. in 1968. He enjoys coming to your table and preparing your meal just the way you want it. Helmut has cooked in France, the Canary Islands, Spain and Switzerland. When he arrived in the U.S. he cooked for Brennan’s world class gourmet restaurant in New Orleans, then the Marriot’s Tan-Tara and then in 1981, he opened Das Stein Haus
