Bio:
Seth Wolfmeyer reports on community news in the southern Callaway County area and works as a designer at the News Tribune. His first voyage into journalism took place as a reporter and later managing editor for a student newspaper at the community college he attended near his rural hometown of Liberty, Illinois. He transferred to Truman State University in 2015 after earning his associate's degree in physics. Quickly realizing his distaste for all things mathematical, he chose to follow his true interest and began studying journalism. Wolfmeyer became heavily involved at Truman's student newspaper, working as a reporter, sports editor and eventually editor-in-chief. On a whim, he also became a member of the school's swing dance performance team. Wolfmeyer graduated in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in communication then began working for the News Tribune.
