CALIFORNIA — As they embark on Week 4 of the 2014 football season at 3-0 and ranked No. 4 in Class 3, the California Pintos are well aware of the tasks at hand as they prepare to host the Eldon Mustangs tonight — remain focused, keep their eyes on the prize and get better each week.
After Friday’s 21-0 win against Mexico, the California Pintos are setting their sights on a more productive four quarters that will result in more points on the board.

CALIFORNIA — After defeating Boonville 44-0 in their opener Friday at Riley Field, the Pintos are ready for game two of the 2014 season tonight, when they will host the Mexico Bulldogs.

Coming off a 12-2 season that California opened last year with a 42-7 win at Boonville and ended with a state semifinal loss to eventual state champion Maryville, the Pintos should be feeling pretty confident as they embark on the 2014 football season.

The California High School freshman and JV football teams were on the road for football games against Blair Oaks Sept. 27, where the freshman Pintos captured a 50-6 win from the Falcons.
