Ron Roy uses a heavy duty forklift to load pallets of eight-inch concrete blocks onto a delivery truck in Jefferson City. Blocks similar to these were made using finely ground recycled rubber tires as an aggregate. It was part of a research project through the Missouri University of Science and Technology at Rolla.
