Rep. Doug Funderburk, R-St. Peters, is congratulated after a vote to override the governor's veto of a bill that attempts to nullify certain federal gun laws during special session at the Missouri State Capital in Jefferson City, Mo., Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013. The 109-49 House vote met the bare minimum needed for a veto override, but the legislation then failed by one vote to get a two-thirds majority in the Senate, thus upholding the veto.
