The St. Joseph Convention and Visitors Bureau hired carriage driver Wayne Duncan to bring a horse and carriage to help their CVB promote tourism in their area. He picked up the Division of Tourism Director, Katie Steele Danner and others for a brief ride downtown to the G2 Gallery for a luncheon to promote tourism in their northeast Missouri city. The carriage was pulled by Tower, an 8-year-old Bergeron draft horse. They definitely caught the attention of pedestrians and drivers downtown Tuesday.
