Sydney Deeken, a junior at California High School, has orally committed to play volleyball at the University of Missouri. Deeken was a Class 2 second-team all-state selection by the Missouri High School Volleyball Coaches Association last fall. As a sophomore, Deeken won Class 2 state track and field titles in both the triple jump and high jump and was second in the long jump as well as earning Class 3 all-state honors in basketball.
