Will state workforce get leaner?
Number of state workers at 15-year low; officials uncertain if more cuts are needed
Missouri government’s workforce is the smallest it’s been in 15 years. Within two months, we’ll know of it’s going to get smaller. Budget Director Linda Luebbering and her staff now are reviewing departments’ and agencies’ requests for the 2013-14 budget.
