Architecture Professor Jaime Canaves talks to a reporter Thursday during a “Walk on Water” event at Florida International University in Miami. Canaves’ Materials and Methods Construction Class is assigned to build aquatic shoes that will allow the students to race across a campus lake by literally walking on water.
