The unmanned Japanese fishing vessel Ryou-un Maru dirfts in the Gulf of Alaska on Wednesday. The vessel had been adrift since it was launched by the tsunami caused by the magnitude-9.0 earthquake that struck Japan last year. The Coast Guard fired on the ship Thursday to sink it.
