The battleship USS Iowa is shown anchored with the “ghost fleet” at the Suisun Bay Reserve Fleet in Benicia, Calif. After being shunned by the city of San Francisco in 2005, the USS Iowa will be transferred from the Bay Area to the Port of Los Angeles to stand as a permanent museum and memorial.
