Andrea Cash, Ann Shamet and John Bexten, all students from Lewis & Clark Middle School, had a blast cleaning up the banks of Wears Creek on Saturday during the first Wears Creek Community Cleanup.

Volunteers clean Wears Creek

‘Cleanup is first step in bigger picture’

Thanks to some 200 volunteers giving up part of their Saturday, Wears Creek and a portion of the Missouri River are a little cleaner today.
