Virginia Northrup
March 10, 1933 - March 3, 2013
Virginia Northrup, 79, of Ashland, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013, at her home. Mrs. Northrup was born March 10, 1933, the daughter of Herman and Elizabeth Fletcher Smith. Virginia married Leonard Erdman in 1950, and then later was married to Michael Northrup on April 4, 1970, in Holts Summit. She was a member of the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Hartsburg. She worked for American Greeting Cards through K-Mart in Jefferson City. Survivors also include her husband Michael; one son, Jerry Erdman and his wife Nita of Rolla; two grandchildren, Sherry Lister and Shawn Erdman; two great-grandchildren, Bradley and Shelby Henson Virginia was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Cherry. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Robinson Funeral Home with Rev. Lyn Heying officiating, visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Boone County Hospice
