Connie I. Gross

January 19, 1956 - March 3, 2013

Connie I. Gross, 57, of Clarksburg, Mo., passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at her home. She was born on January 19, 1956, at Bothwell Hospital in Sedalia, the daughter of Charles Argenbright, who preceded her in death, and Myrtle (Todd) Hanning, who survives of Otterville. She was a 1973 graduate of Otterville High School and a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church near Clarksburg. She had worked at the pants factory in Tipton, Cargill, Orvis Gokey in Tipton and Burgerís Smokehouse. Connie enjoyed taking care of and spending time with her grandkids, gardening, reading, fishing and she loved cooking, especially cakes. She enjoyed her cats, Charlie and Everly. She is survived by three daughters, Lisa Schuster and husband Wesley of California, Elizabeth Tarrants and husband Robert of Holts Summit, and Micheal Gross of Clarksburg; two brothers, Herbert Argenbright of Sedalia and Raymond Hanning of Tipton; two sisters, Norma Bishop of Bunceton and Helen Gross of Clarksburg; five grandchildren, Baylee, Lane and Brodie Schuster, and Hailey and Emma Tarrants; Anna Lea Gross; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Eugene Argenbright. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013, at 10:00 a.m., at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church near Clarksburg. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Baptist Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Justin Houston. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. ñ 8:00 p.m. at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California, Mo. Memorials are suggested to Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, c/o Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, 100 S. Oak, California, MO 65018. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California, Mo.
