James “Jim” Wyman Jones U.S. Veteran

James Wyman Jones, 71, of Russellville, died Sunday, June 2, 2013, at his home, surrounded by family. He was born April 6, 1942, the son of Wyman and Sylvia Spalding Jones, who preceded him in death. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, Jim was an aircraft mechanic for the Missouri National Guard in Jefferson City until his retirement in 2002. He served Enon Baptist Church faithfully through multiple building projects, maintenance, and as a member of the choir, and was President of the Enon Cemetery Board. He is survived by his wife, Judith Marden Jones; two children, Christopher (wife Shannon) Jones and Dr. Suzanne (husband Ryan) Long; four grandchildren, Ryan and Andrew Jones and Nathanial and Patrick Long; and a brother, Bobby(wife Adele). Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John; and sister-in-law, Ann. A Memorial Service will be 3:00 p.m., June 22, at the Enon Baptist Church, with a reception to follow. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Enon Cemetery.
