Barbara Marie Farley

Barbara Marie Farley, 76, of Jefferson City, died Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born December 2, 1936, in Dickens, Iowa, a daughter of John Emmitt and Lylly Harriet (Beams) Johnson. She was a 1953 graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Omaha, Nebraska. On June 4, 1955, Barbara was united in marriage in Ogalala, Nebraska, to Lawrence William Farley, who preceded her in death on May 30, 2007. She is survived by one son, L. David Farley and wife Maureen of St. Paul, Minnesota; two daughters, Cynthia Joan Folker and Judith Harriet Roach, both of Jefferson City; three brothers, three sisters, 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, John Edward Farley, on August 25, 2001, two brothers, and her parents. Private family graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013, at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Eldon. Arrangements are under the direction of HOUSER-MILLARD Funeral Directors, 2613 W. Main St., (573) 636-3838.
