Yancy Leroy Bolton
March 16, 1946 - December 31, 2012
Yancy Leroy Bolton, 66, of Houston, Texas, died Monday December 31, 2012, at his home surrounded by family. He was born March 16, 1946, in Jefferson City Mo., the son of the late Ethel and Norman Bolton. Yancy graduated from Jefferson City High School in 1964, and joined the United States Marines. Survivors include his wife Dana; five children; Dewayne, Bobbi, Robert, Christine and Mykel; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five nieces; one nephew and a host of cousin and friends. He was preceded in death by his son; Donnie; two brothers, Robert and Earl and sister, Margie. Services will be held Friday January 11, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Grimes Funeral Home, 3900 Holmes Rd., Houston, Texas 77051 and interment will be at the Houston National Cemetary.

How sad it is to lose another "Jefferson City Original",one who was brought up here and lived here during the "good times". But it will also be a blessing to know his memory will live on in the hearts of his family,and friends, even those loved ones left here in Missouri. Be blessed, family, and put your trust in the Lord, One who makes no mistakes.
