Wayne T. Allen, 91, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at Summit Villa, Holts Summit, Mo. He was born in February of 1921, and graduated from White City High School in Kansas. On June 1, 1946, he married the love of his life, Margery. She preceded him in death. Wayne retired after 33 years of employment as a salesman for Goodyear Tire & Rubber. He continued to sell tires for Anderson TBA in Chillicothe, Mo., and Ewers Tires in Jefferson City, Mo. He was a present member of Union Hill Baptist Church in Holts Summit. Wayne lived life to the fullest. He never met a stranger that he didn't know and was always asking children for high fives. Survivors include his children, Sharon and Dave Case, Norborne, Mo., Bob and Marsha Allen, Jan and Dan Elliott; grandchildren, Michelle and Shannon Hall, Mike and Jenni Case, Scott Elliott, Brent Elliott; great-grandchildren, Grady, Hannah, Hunter, Harrison, Cassidy, Baron, and Holly. He was preceded in death by his parents, niece, and nephew. Funeral services will be held at the Union Hill Baptist Church, Holts Summit, Missouri, on Monday, October 15, 2012, at 9:00 a.m. There will be a scheduled family visitation on Sunday October 14, 2012, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Union Hill Baptist Church, Holts Summit, Missouri. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, October 13, 2012, from 12 noon until 5:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the Wakenda Cemetery, Hardin, Missouri, on Monday, October 15, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Boy Scouts of America and may be left at or mailed to the Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
