Kenneth Dell Fox

Kenneth Dell Fox, 90, of Lake Ozark, died Thursday, September 27, 2012, at Lake Regional Hospital. He was born March 28, 1922, in Rolla, a son of Utah and Eliza (Cox) Fox. Kenneth served in the Civilian Conservation Corps from 1939-1941, when he joined the United States Army. He served in Italy during World War II and was honored for being an expert rifleman and was awarded the Bronze Star Award for his heroic achievement in action. On April 6, 1950, Kenneth was united in marriage in Fulton County, Arkansas, to Dolores Bax, who survives at their home. He worked for General Motors in St. Louis as metal finisher for 32 years until his retirement. Kenneth was a Golden Gloves boxer in the military and loved to fish and hunt. He always did what he could to help out others and his family. Other survivors include one son, David Fox and wife Katherine of Lake Ozark; five grandchildren: Dani, Ruby, David Jr., James, Shelby; and a multitude of other relatives and friends. Friends will be received from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 6, 2012, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Interment with full military honors will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
