William E. Reynolds, 73, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Monday, June 18, 2012, at Kindred Hospital, St. Louis, Mo. He was born June 20, 1938, in Pittsburg, Pa. Mr. Reynolds was a retired Lt. Colonel after 20 years in the U.S. Army; he was awarded the Bronze Star; he was a Korean War and Vietnam War Veteran; a member of the Missouri Officer Association; he was former owner of The Yum Yum Tree, and Yum Yum Branch, Kings Table Banquet Hall, T-Scene Sports Wear, all of Jefferson City, Mo.; he was also the former owner of Dunkin Donuts in Jefferson City, Mo. and in Des Moines, Iowa; he attended the Christ Community Lutheran Church, Columbia, Ill. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Dorothy Reynolds, nee Cooper; a daughter, Deborah Lawson, Columbia, Ill.; a sister, Ann (Robert) Dyer of Clear Water, Fla. He was a dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, William, H. and Ann nee Boyle, Reynolds and a son-in-law, Mark Lawson. Visitation will be Friday, June 22, 2012, at Christ Community Lutheran Church, Columbia, Ill. from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. on Friday at the church with Pastor Jared Parker officiating.
