Mary C. Maxey, 84, of Jefferson City, was called to heaven Friday, December 30, 2011, after a brief illness. She is survived by one daughter: Sandra Clark of Jefferson City; two sons: William L. Clark and Kenneth E. Clark, both of St. Louis; four grandchildren: Stanley Clark of Houston, Texas, Amanda Mujbegovic of Tampa, Florida, Margaret Clark of Brooklyn, New York, Ira Clark of Augusta, Georgia; and one great-grandchild: Elijah Clark of Houston, Texas. Mary's husband of 36 years, Harry Maxey, preceded her in death on February 8, 2011. Private family services and entombment will be held in the Hawthorn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
