Mr. Charles Lamont Wright, age 59 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away on Monday, January 30, 2012, at his home. He was born on July 11, 1952, in Dayton, Ohio, a son of Janet M. Hawthorn Wright. He was married on April 4, 1987, in Jefferson City, to Myla A. Jones. Chuck was a 1970 graduate of Blue Springs High School in Blue Springs, Mo. A resident of the Jefferson City area for the past 34 years, he was employed as a Network Services Analyst for the State of Missouri Office of Administration Data Center for 32 years retiring in 2009. Chuck enjoyed his computers, working in the backyard, going to the lake, his cat of 13 years - Missy, musicals and live performances by Rush, Stomp, Blue Man Group, Cats, and not to forget Larry the Cable Guy. He loved to go to Las Vegas working the quarter slots, Florida beaches, running the Mississippi ferries, and the ice cold winters to see the migration of bald eagles from Alaska. Chuck now soars like an eagle on the wings of a butterfly. Chuck is survived by his wife Myla and their son Robert Williams, both of Jefferson City, Mo., and his beloved cat, Honey Bunny. He was preceded in death by his Grandmother Hawthorn. A private family service will be held at a later date.
