Brenda Frances Scheetz
May 15, 1949 - December 2, 2012
Mrs. Brenda Frances Scheetz, age 63 years, of St. Robert, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2012, at her home. Brenda was born on May 15, 1949, in Augusta, Ga., the daughter of Richard and Margurite Bauder. She attended school in Waynesville, and graduated from both Waynesville High School and Excella Beauty School (Rolla) in 1967. She was married on July 15, 1967, at the St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in St. Robert, to Charles B. Scheetz. On July 27, 1969, they welcomed their only child, a daughter, Shanon Margurite, into their world. She was employed by the Waynesville School District and worked for 37 years in their Food Service Program. Although she was not a practicing beautician, Brenda always maintained her Missouri State Beautician License and enjoyed keeping her family well-groomed at all times. Brenda was very devoted to her family and valued them more than anything. She was also very committed to the people in her community and never met a stranger. She was a very giving person and was most rewarded by doing things for others. Her hobbies included cooking, baking, gardening, volunteering her time, and working with flowers to create beautiful arrangements. Survivors include her husband, Charles B. "Chuck" Scheetz of St. Robert, and their daughter, Shanon M. Hawk of Jefferson City. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Gail Bauder of Denton, Texas, and Jane Burns of St. James, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Richard Bauder Jr. and John Bauder. Visitation will be held at the Memorial Chapels and Crematory from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2012. Funeral services will be conducted immediately following the visitation at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Danny Graves officiating. Interment will be held at the Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made payable to the Waynesville Schools Food Service Program (for Brenda's Lunch Buddies Account). Brenda made sure that no child attending school went hungry due to lack of money and would pay for their lunch with her own money. The Lunch Buddies Program will carry on that tradition in Brenda's honor. The family wishes to thank their devoted friends for all of their expressions of kindness and support during Brenda's illness. Online condolences can be sent at www.memorialchapelsandcrematory.com.
