Melinda L. Hopkins, age 50, of Chamois, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
She is survived by: her mother, Peggy Hopkins; one daughter, Amanda Hopkins and her finance` Cameron Smith, both of Chamois; one brother, David Hopkins Jr. of Chamois; two grandchildren and two nephews. A celebration of life was held from noon until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2011, at the Lions Club Complex in the Chamois City Park. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family.
