Catherine M. Bock, age 91, of Rich Fountain, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2011, at Westphalia Hills. Catherine was born June 13, 1919, in Linn, a daughter to the late George and Catherine (Obermark) Voss. Catherine attended school in Linn. On September 18, 1944, she was united in marriage to Walter P. Bock in Linn. He preceded her in death on September 21, 2001. Catherine was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain where she was a member of the sewing circle and St. Ann's Sodality. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, embroidery, baking, and taking care of her grandchildren. Survivors include: seven daughters, Elaine Paschal and her husband Eddie of Jefferson City, Orlene Van Dyke and her husband David of Meadville, Carol Prenger and her husband Don of Taos, Helen Luebbert and her husband Dave of Westphalia, Dina Krieg and her husband Fred of Westphalia, Mary Jane Schulte and her husband John of Rich Fountain, and Joyce Schulte and her husband Mark of Rich Fountain; 21 grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, eight step-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents and spouse, Catherine was preceded in death by seven brothers; four sisters; two grandchildren, Kathy Paschal and Trey Schulte; and a son-in-law, Glenn F. Berhorst. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain. There will be a prayer service at 4:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Philip Niekamp as the celebrant. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Church Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Sacred Heart Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
