No one fits the definition of love found in 1 Corinthians 13 more than Betty. Betty was patient, Betty was kind. She did not envy; she did not boast; she was not proud. She was never rude; she was not self-seeking. She was not easily angered, and she kept no record of wrongs. Betty did not delight in evil, but rejoiced with the truth. She always protected her family and friends, always trusted in the Lord and others, always hoped, and always persevered. To all who knew her, Betty was love.
