Keith Edward Scheperle, 62, of Jefferson City, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, July 8, 2011, in Columbia, Missouri. He was born May 14, 1949, in Jefferson City, a son of the late Clifford P. and Emaline R. (Schneider) Scheperle. Keith was a 1967 graduate of Jefferson City High School and a graduate of Lincoln University. Keith was the co-owner of All Seasons Landscaping. Keith was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He served in the Missouri National Guard and was an Eagle Scout. He was an avid Jay Football booster and loved watching good baseball, having just gone to the 2011 College World Series with his son and grandson. He loved working in his garden, looking for antiques, hunting and fishing, and attending country picnics. But most of all, Keith loved his family; especially his grandchildren, who were the loves of his life and the apple of his eye. "Pop" loved them dearly. Keith was married for 43 years to Renee (Brown) Scheperle, who survives at their home. Other survivors, are his son, who he was so proud of, Kristopher Scheperle (wife Jennifer), grandchildren: Hannah Rene, Krisjen Charles "Charlie", Elizabeth Kay "Elly", and little Adam Edward; and a daughter-in-law: Gayle Scheperle Doll; his wonderful big brothers: Gary Scheperle (wife Brenda), and Dale Scheperle (wife Alvyne); and his little sister: Janis Miller (husband Eric). Keith is also survived by a sister-in-law: Lynne Waisner (husband Gary); two brothers-in-law: Mark Brown (wife Stephanie), and Robb Brown. They were more than in-laws, they were his friends. Other survivors are his mother-in-law: Lucille Brown, and many wonderful nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a beloved son: Adam Aaron Scheperle; his parents: Clifford and Emily Scheperle; and his father-in-law: Bill Brown. "Keith was Truly Our Hero." Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2011, at Trinity Lutheran Church and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at Trinity Lutheran Church, with Rev. Russ Bowder officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Trinity Lutheran School PTL Technology Fund or the American Cancer Society.
