Mrs. Mary Lee Dearing, age 84 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away Saturday, January 8, 2011, at the Jefferson City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mary Lee was born on March 27, 1926, in Jefferson City, a daughter of William and Ruth Pace Morrow. She was married on November 12, 1946, in Jefferson City to Howard E. Dearing, who preceded her in death on October 9, 1993. A lifelong resident of Jefferson City and a member of the First Baptist Church, Mary Lee was employed for 10 years as a Records and Correspondence Clerk for the Missouri Department of Revenue, retiring on November 1, 1991. Survivors include: one son, Larry Dearing and his wife Elizabeth of Marietta, Ga.; one sister, Patricia Ensign and her husband Dick of Oceola, Mo.; one grandson, Marshall Dearing and his wife Pamela of Brooks, Ga.; and one great-grandson, Justin Dearing. Other local survivors include one niece, Martha LeMond and one nephew, Greg Bolten, both of Jefferson City, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, William Morrow Jr.; one sister, Ruth Bolten; and one infant brother. A private service will be conducted at a later date.
