Through the love of a brother-in-law, Gary Garber, and a brother, Kenny Akin, who each selflessly donated a kidney, Larry was able to enjoy many happy years with his family. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 30, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles, with the family receiving friends from noon to 2 p.m. Interment followed in the Versailles Cemetery with military honors.
