Elizabeth Christine Sestak, 77, of Rolla, Mo., died Monday, December 19, 2011, in Rolla. She was born February 24, 1934, in Jefferson City, Mo., to the late Martin and Margaret (Hertzing) Wiegers. Elizabeth was a member of St. Boniface Parish. She was a teacher at Fatima High School and Maries R1 School. She and her husband owned and operated Koeltztown Feed Store. She enjoyed quilting and sewing in her free time. Survivors include her sons, Larry Sestak and wife Norine of Koeltztown, Mo., and Phillip Sestak and wife Cathy of Freeburg, Mo.; daughters, Caroline Schulte and husband Don of Freeburg, Mo., Julie Peterman and husband Dennis of Rolla and Emily Meldrem and husband Jude of Jefferson City, Mo.; brother, Leroy Wiegers of Rich Fountain, Mo.; grandchildren, Richard, Toni and Kate Sestak, Maggie, Beth, Jenny and Jackie Schulte, Zane Peterman, Matt, Heather and Lucy Luebbering and Lily Meldrem; great-grandchildren, Alex, Nick, Dean, Josie and Blake; and three nieces, along with many extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Sestak (1991); and grandson, Luke Luebbering (1999), in addition to her parents. Services for Elizabeth Christine Sestak will be held today, Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Church in Rolla with Father Mike Murphy, Deacon Mike Brooks and Father Phillip E. Niekamp officiating. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery in Rich Fountain, Mo., at 3 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Holy Family Catholic School in Freeburg, Mo., or St. Patrick's School in Rolla, Mo.
