Harold "Hal" Carter, 79, of Lohman, Mo., died peacefully Friday, December 2, 2011. Hal was born January 6, 1932, in Pepperell, Mass. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carol, and five sons. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, one brother, one sister, and many nieces and nephews. Hal was preceded in death by his twin sister and five brothers. A memorial service will be held in his honor on March 30, 2012 at St. Michael's Church in Russellville, Mo.
