Lucille M. Rush, 90, of Eugene, passed away Friday, April 15, 2011, in Jefferson City. She was born September 6, 1920, in Mary's Home, the daughter of the late Conrad C. and Katie (Loethen) Mornann. She was married June 29, 1946, in Mary's Home, to Oliver Rush, who preceded her in death on December 6, 2002. Lucille was a lifelong member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church and Alter Society in Mary's Home, along with being a member of the Legion of Mary. She loved quilting, gardening and sewing. Her survivors include two daughters, Mary and her husband Dominic Plassmeyer of Meta and Ann Bond of Eugene; one son, John Rush and wife Brenda of Eugene; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Wes Mormann and Kathryn Kempker, both of Eugene. She was preceded in death by one son, Billy Rush; son-in-laws, Tommy Seaton and Clyde Bond; and two brothers, William and Marcus Mormann. Visitation will be held 4-8 p.m., Sunday, April 17, at Phillips Funeral Home in Mary's Home, with a rosary at 4:30 p.m. and prayer service at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 18, at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church in Mary's Home, with Rev. Patrick J. Shortt as the celebrant and Rev. Mark Porterfield as concelebrant. Burial will be in the Our Lady of Snows Cemetery in Mary's Home.
