Elizabeth Joann Collins, 33, of Jefferson City, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2010, at her home. She was born November 10, 1976, in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. She was a graduate of Apache High School in Apache Junction, Ariz. Elizabeth worked as a Nursing Assistant. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her niece Maria and nephew Joshuah. She is survived by her mother, Darlene Rice of Jefferson City; her father, Hubert "J.R." Collins of Littlefield, Texas; three daughters, Jasmin Collins of Kansas City, Mo., Brittany Collins and Carissa Collins, both of Providence, R.I.; three brothers, Brian Collins, Justin Rice and Christopher Rice, all of Jefferson City; one aunt, Susan Early of Jefferson City; and two cousins, Cory Collins and Bradley Early, both of Jefferson City. Friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 7, 2010, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home, where funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
