Diana Marie Otto, 66, of Holts Summit, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2010, at her home. She was born February 15, 1944, in St. Louis, a daughter of the late Bennie and Dorothy (Shelton) Gocal. She attended Berkley High School in Berkley. She was married to Edward Francis Keating, who preceded her in death. On January 27, 1990, she was married to John Joseph Otto, who preceded her in death on June 21, 2002. Diana worked for Maytag, St. Mary's Health Center, and retired from Scholastic Incorporated. She had also owned Jamestown Bar & Grill. She loved bird watching, animals, lottery scratcher tickets, going to the casino, the Home Shopping Network, collecting trinkets, and home interior decorating. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and her dog, Coco. She is survived by two daughters: Julie Keating of Russellville and Barb Prenger (significant other Kenny Shelton) of Holts Summit; two granddaughters: Amber Buscher of Jefferson City and Maria Luebbert of Loose Creek; three grandsons: Kyle Luebbert of Taos, Cory Buscher of Russellville, and Joseph Luebbert of Kansas; her step-mother: Dodie Gocal of Osage Beach; four step-children: Ronald Otto, Shane Otto, Shawn Otto, and Jennifer Otto; four step-brothers: Dave Brooks (wife Kathy) of Osage Beach, Keith Brooks (wife Chris) of Osage Beach, Craig Brooks (wife Ruth Ann) of O'Fallon, and Mark Brooks (wife Debbie) of Alaska; one step-sister: Geri Libke (husband Tony) of Minnesota; and numerous extended family and friends. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 8, 2010, at the Slater-Millard Family Funeral Chapel in Holts Summit, where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Diana Otto Memorial Fund.
