Larry Howlett

Larry Dean Howlett, 69, of Jefferson City, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at Golden Living Center in Jefferson City.
He was born November 18, 1940, in Quincy, Illinois, a son of Leonard Charles and Mary Lou (Muffley) Howlett. He was a graduate of Quincy Senior High School in Quincy, Illinois. Larry worked in the trucking industry and then was owner/operator of Bankers Life and Casualty Insurance for 20 years, until his retirement in 1995.
He is survived by three sons: Larry Howlett of Lake Ozark, Garry Howlett (wife Nancy) of Jefferson City, and Michael Howlett (wife Sheila) of Lake Ozark; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers: Ted and Jerry; two sisters: Dolores and Sue; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers: Ron Howlett and Charles Howlett.
Private family services will be held. Interment will be held at Greenmount Cemetery in Quincy, Illinois. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society.
