John Casey, age 58, of St. Louis, Mo., passed away Monday, May 17, 2010, at Barnes Hospital.
He was born November 21, 1951, son of Harry Francis and Margaret Mary (Hill) Casey in St. Louis, Mo. He was a former soccer coach at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kan., and known for his involvement in the St. Louis and Missouri soccer communities. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Pam (Stippec) Casey; one daughter, Colleen Casey; two sons, Kevin Casey and Colin Casey; five brothers, Bill (Dien Mei) Casey, Albuquerque, N.M., Joe (Donna) Casey, Lindenhurst, Ill., Bob (Debbie) Casey, St. Louis, Mo., Jim (Terry) Casey, Jefferson City, Mo., and Tom (Jennie) Casey, Ft. Worth, Texas; three sisters, Jewell Reynolds, Littleton, Colo., Peggy (Bob) Bromley, St. Louis, Mo., Maureen Casey, St. Louis, Mo.; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother (Michael), a nephew, and a great-nephew. A memorial Mass will be conducted in Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church, 6596 Smiley Ave., St. Louis, MO 63139, on Friday, May 21, 2010, at 10 a.m. The inurnment is private.
