Mary Louise McKinney, 55, of Tebbetts, Missouri, passed away Friday, July 16, 2010, at her home.
She was born February 23, 1955, in Fulton, Missouri, a daughter of Frank and Bernice (Malincoat) Vollrath. She was a 1973 graduate of South Callaway High School, and went on to earn her Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Columbia College. On July 15, 1977, she was united in marriage, in Fulton, Missouri, to Karol Everette McKinney, who survives at their home. Mary worked for Farm Bureau for 37 years, where she was Director of Life Insurance Underwriting. She was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Holts Summit. Mary was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan and enjoyed NASCAR. The most important thing to her was spending time with family and friends. She is also survived by two twin-daughters: Kerri Denise McKinney of Phoenix, Ariz.; Terri Danielle Roth (husband Nick) of St. Louis, Mo.; her mother: Bernice Vollrath of Fulton, Mo; two sisters: Brenda Dirks (husband Jeff) of Webster Groves, Mo.; Carol Vollrath of Ogden, Utah; and had her first grandson on the way. She was preceded in death by her father: Frank Vollrath and one sister: Wanda Winter. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 19, 2010, at St. Andrews Catholic Church - Veit Hall in Holts Summit, where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at St. Andrews Catholic Church, with Rev. Msgr. Gregory L. Higley officiating. Interment will follow in St. Andrews Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
