Bobbie Jo Starr, 41, of Jefferson City, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at Capital Region Medical Center, Jefferson City.
She was born December 18, 1968 in Wichita, Kan., daughter of Robert Hood and Virginia (Evans) Woodard. She was married on March 28, 1995, to Levi Starr, who survives at the home. Bobbie attended high school in Wichita. She was employed at the Jefferson Street McDonalds as a Crew Trainer. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Jefferson City. Survivors include her parents, Robert and Jan Hood and Bob and Virginia Woodward; one son, Steven Tompkins of Columbia; three sisters, Tina Barnes (Danny) of Wichita, Kan., Regina Sales (Hugh) of Wichita, Kan., and Stephanie Gilpin (Keith) of Osage City; and several niece and nephews. Bobbie was preceded in death by a daughter, Juanita Marie on June 25, 1986; and grandparents, Jerry and Joyce Hood and Glenn and Viola Evans. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church at a later date. Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church, Jefferson City, Benevolent Fund.
