Rebecca (Becky) Sue Siegel, 64, of Jefferson City, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Adams Street Place in Jefferson City. Becky was born on May 23, 1955 in Wyandotte County, Kansas. Becky graduated from Ashland High School. She was employed as an accounts receivable clerk with Scholastic and retired after 25 years. Becky loved to help people and always greeted others with her contagious smile. Her life was a living example of the Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 - "And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ". She had a vivacious personality, loved to dance, and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went. Becky loved celebrating others, their accomplishments, and was well known for her wonderful cooking. She leaves behind a very loving family that she was extremely proud of. Becky was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Grandma Becky and Yaya. Becky is survived by her four children, Heather R. Morris of Osage Beach, Bethany J. Brandes and Matt of Wardsville, Jaime L. Morris of Jefferson City, and Mark D. McKinney of Taos; nine grandchildren, Haylee S. Morris, Madeline S. Brandes, Riley A. Brandes, Brendan D. Thirlwall, Gavin W. Brandes, Landon S. Thirlwall, Bennett D. McKinney, Harrison R. McKinney, and Hadley K. McKinney; four brothers, Robert and Donna Morris of Brumley, Roger and Kris Morris of Frankfurt, Germany, Raymond and Brenda Morris of Apollo Beach, Florida, and Ronnie and Debbie Morris of Holts Summit; multiple cousins, nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends. She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Hunter R. Thirlwall and parents, Frank R. and Lissie R. Morris. All of these she loved and touched deeply. Please join us in celebrating her life Tuesday, September 10 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 2027 Industrial Dr, Jefferson City, Mo. A small reception will also follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith Lutheran Church.
