Helen Marie Sims, age 84, of Eldon, passed away Monday, October 7, 2019, at Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Valentine of Versailles; three grandchildren, Staci Patterson of Versailles, Eric Valentine of Kansas City, and Michael Valentine of Merriam, Kan.; three great-grandchildren, Kaylin and Kenady Patterson and Ethan Valentine; two sisters, Darlene Widowski of Barnett and Neva Bieri of Eldon; two brothers, Richard Dowell of Latham and Kenneth Dowell of Paris, Mo. Graveside services and burial will be 11:30 a.m., Saturday, October 12, at Hopewell Cemetery in Barnett.
