Donald Washburn Varney

Donald W. Varney, 87, of Holts Summit, died Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at the Missouri Veteran's Home in Mexico. Survivors include his wife, Faye Glasford Varney; three children, Laureen MacKay, Teresa Martin and Michael (Cindy) Varney; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one step-daughter, Donna (Joseph) Corrado; five step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and other extended family members. Don served in the United State Air Force for over 20 years. Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Holts Summit, Mo. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. celebrated by Monsignor Greg Higley. Memorials may be made to St. Andrew Catholic Church or to the Missouri Veteran's Home. Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
