Jamie L. Wieberg, age 46, of Linn, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at his residence. Jamie was born January 17, 1973, in Jefferson City. Jamie attended school in Jefferson City and worked 20 years at Von Hoffmann as well as working in construction. On September 1, 2000, he was united in marriage to Aimee Cockrum in Las Vegas. She survives of the home. Jamie enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. He loved to spend every evening riding side by sides with his wife. He spent many hours building a gorgeous Chevy truck with Jenna. Jamie and Arik cut many, many loads of wood. He was a connoisseur of Busch Light bottles and he was everyone's friend and will be missed terribly. In addition to his wife, Jamie is survived by: one son, Arik Cockrum of Linn; two daughters, Jenna Wieberg of the home and Courtney Wieberg of Jefferson City; one grandchild, Maci; one brother, Rob Wieberg of Jefferson City; one sister, Carrie Wieberg of Kansas City; as well as nieces and nephews. Jamie was preceded in death by his father, John Arthur Wieberg; one brother, John Craig Wieberg; and his mother-in-law, Betty Cockrum. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until noon on Saturday, October 5, 2019, at Morton Chapel in Linn. Funeral Services will follow at noon.
