Aloysius B. Lepper

Aloysius "Al" B. Lepper, 98, of Olean, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at the Jefferson City Manor in Jefferson City, Missouri. He was born October 7, 1920, in Mary's Home, Missouri, the son of the late Frank Henry and Rosa J. (Lueckenhoff) Lepper. On October 10, 1959, in Mary's Home, Missouri he was united in marriage to Alice Marie (Iven) Lepper who preceded him in death on January 5, 2014. Al served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a dairy farmer for most of his life and was known for his excellent welding skills and his love for raising and showing horses. He was employed with Cole R-5 Eugene School District as a bus driver where he drove Bus #8 for 12 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Eldon, Mo. He enjoyed trout fishing and gardening, but his greatest love was being with his family. Survivors include: son, Michael A. Lepper of Olean, Mo.; daughter, Darla Graham (Mark) of St. Louis, Mo.; grandchildren, Megan Bruemmer (Travis), Tim Lepper, D. J. Lepper, Olivia Graham and Harrison Graham; great-granddaughters, Alison and Charleigh Bruemmer; brother, Adolph Lepper of Jefferson City, Mo.; two sons, Dale J. Lepper and Darrell W. Lepper; six siblings, Jacob, Henry, Alma, William, Alfred and Walter Lepper preceded him in death. Visitation will be Saturday, May 18, 2019, from 9:00 a.m.- 10:00 a.m. with a Funeral Mass beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Eldon, Mo. with Rev. Alex Gabriel officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Garden Cemetery with Full Military Honors presented. Memorials in his name are suggested to Spring Garden Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Mo.
