Edwin Michael "Mike" Goetz

Edwin Michael "Mike" Goetz, 65, of Henley, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 29, 1953, in Jefferson City, a son of the late Cletus Edwin Victor and Mary Delores (Vivion) Goetz. Mike was united in marriage to Kathy Lehman on October 29, 1983, in Jefferson City, Missouri. Mike was a graduate of Jefferson City High School. He worked construction in his early years. He was recently employed with the Dollar General Warehouse until his retirement in October 2018. Mike enjoyed fishing, hunting and horseback riding. His most cherished times were spent with family and friends but especially his four grandchildren. Mike is survived by his wife of 35 years, Kathy; his children: Stacey Lynn Kumberg (Justin) and Justin Michael Goetz (Darice) both of Jefferson City; brother: Robert Goetz (Dianne) of Mary's Home; sisters: Rebecca Kolb (Fred) of Russellville and Laurie Werdehausen (Randy) of Holts Summit; grandchildren: Macie Goetz, Abel Kumberg, Eliza Goetz and Adilynn Goetz; his beloved pets: Sass and Miley; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2019, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Honey Creek. Additional visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Honey Creek. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 10:00 a.m. with Rev.
